I love the lemon caper dressing at Dressed in Atlanta.

But we live in San Francisco now. And I’m not working, so no need to walk to the salad restaurant on my break. I’ve made a lemon caper dressing before without a recipe, just olive oil, smashed capers, lemon juice, maybe a touch of dijon mustard. But I’ve had this recipe bookmarked for a while, and thought it was time to give it a try.

A couple of heads of lovely butter lettuce from our CSA. Walnuts, avocado and lemon caper dressing. A salad you cut. It was really good but maybe not worth the trouble of segmenting the lemon and mincing ingredients (I subbed spring onion for shallot).
