I don’t have a picture for this post because I messed up the soba noodles and they were a sticky, goopy mess. Despite this, the sesame soba dish was delicious!
I have been making pie crust for a long time (maybe 20 years!) but have never made a perfect pie crust until last week.
The other day C was readingĀ The Doorbell Rang (Pat Hutchins) and said he wanted to make “kingkongs” (which is how he says “cookie”). And I have been wanting to make these graham crackers for a while…
I usually make falafel from a mix because I have one brand I really like. But recently I’ve found it to be not as good, and not just because it made me gassy.

I’ve had my eye on Dutch babies (or German pancakes) for a while now, but they seemed like a lot of work compared to the homemade pancake mix I keep on hand. But I took the plunge this weekend.
So we still don’t have a reliable fridge, which precludes us from stocking up on a lot of proteins. We’ve been eating a lot of eggs.
