So for a rainy day, a warm bev&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/leighadactyl\/13494788625\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"two cups of hot chocolate\" src=\"https:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7212\/13494788625_dfd53fa3f6.jpg\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<!--more keep reading...--><br \/>\nWe have a lot of rum (both light and dark) in the house, leftover from Hurricane making from a Mardi Gras party. So I&#8217;ve challenged myself to make more rum drinks. Stay tuned for the rum old fashioned&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rum Hot Chocolate<\/strong><br \/>\nTotal time: 10 minutes<br \/>\nServes: 2<\/p>\n<p>2 cups whole milk<br \/>\n2.5 ounces bittersweet chocolate (I used Tcho 60-something %)<br \/>\n2 Tbsp cocoa powder<br \/>\n2 pinches cinnamon<br \/>\npinch salt<br \/>\n2 shots dark rum, or to taste<\/p>\n<p>Heat milk over medium-low, don&#8217;t bring to a boil. Whisk in chocolate, then cocoa powder, cinnamon and salt. Remove from heat and stir in rum. Yum.<\/p>\n<p>Update: You know, I said stay tuned for the rum old fashioned, but I made them last week and we don&#8217;t have any more oranges.
