Despite this, the sesame soba dish was delicious!<\/p>\n<p><!--more keep reading...--><\/p>\n<p>I was looking for new (to us) way to make tofu into a meal. And we had some soba noodles in the pantry that didn&#8217;t look like they were going to be made into anything anytime soon (we&#8217;re out of miso, so I haven&#8217;t been able to make my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.leighadactyl.com\/food\/super-simple-soba\/\">simple super soba<\/a>). A friend had told me about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.101cookbooks.com\">101 Cookbooks<\/a>, and this sounded like the kind of problem that Heidi Swanson could solve. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.101cookbooks.com\/archives\/000110.html\">Otsu<\/a>\u00a0was the answer. I took some additional inspiration from <a href=\"http:\/\/smittenkitchen.com\/blog\/2007\/08\/so-good-soba\/\">this Smitten Kitchen recipe<\/a>, adding edamame and saut\u00e9ed cabbage instead of the\u00a0cilantro and\u00a0cucumber called for in the otsu recipe.
