I used <a href=\"http:\/\/www.davidlebovitz.com\/2013\/02\/shakshuka-recipe-eggs\/\">this recipe<\/a> as kind of starting point. Can tomatoes, no greens. I did not use chile pepper (for the kids&#8217; sakes) but did add a pinch of crushed red pepper. The spices make this dish really rich and delicious. I&#8217;ve cooked eggs in the oven before and find it really hard to control their doneness.
